EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR

Oladosu Adenike Titilope

Oladosu Adenike Titilope is the initiator of the Fridays for Future movement in Nigeria and the first climate striker in Africa. She has mobilized millions of people around the globe to take action on climate change. She is a first-class graduate of Agricultural Economics from the Federal University of Agriculture, Makurdi, and an ecofeminist, eco-reporter, and climate justice leader. She is the Executive Director of the ILeadClimate Action Initiative, a disarmament center that advocates for the recharge of Lake Chad, which has shrunk by 90%. Adenike specializes in peace, security, and equality in Africa. She has been a Nigerian youth delegate to the United Nations Conference of Parties (COP25, COP26, and COP27) in Spain, the United Kingdom, and Egypt, respectively. She was also invited to the first United Nations Youth Summit in 2019, the same year she was awarded by Amnesty International – Nigeria the Ambassador of Conscience award for her fight for climate justice. She is a past fellow of the Panel on Planetary Thinking at Justus Liebig University, Giessen in Germany. She is also an Amos Trust Female Climate Fellow from April to November and a Mangrove Fellow from October 2022 to May 2023. Adenike has showcased her climate activism on high-level fora and several platforms. In 2020, she produced a 50-page curriculum on climate change and ecofeminism in Africa that will benefit thousands of people.

He graduated from the Glorious Vision University (formerly Samuel Adegboyega University) in Nigeria, Edo State with a degree in Computer Science. In 2019, He was awarded the technology award for his attestation to Innovative and Technology skills as the Tech personality of the year. He is passionate about using technology to solve real-world problems, and He is excited to join iLeadclimate Action Initiative and contribute to her mission.

He is an accountant with several years of experience in the food and drinks industry and an administrator for a school where he focuses on climate education for young people.
